The most effective material utilisation will be achieved with boards or arrays of boards having their finished outline fit as efficiently as possible within the usable area of the panel . Test coupons must be within the usable area. If the entire panel is shipped to the customer, the customer may negotiate to have locating holes and/or break-away tabs for insertion or surface mount equipment located outside the sable area. Material utilisation may be increased by utilising the scoring process.
Multilayer Usable Area Diagrams
For multilayer circuit boards, a border of 19mm around the panel cannot be used for any part of the finished circuit board.
